Shipping & Refund Information
**VINYL RECORD DAMAGE NOTICE**
All records are securely packaged with appropriate packing materials. Items that are shipped Media Mail spend the most amount of time in transit, which increases the risk of damage, including warps. Additionally, Media Mail offers little to no recourse if a package is damaged or lost. We cannot be held responsible for the mishandling of packages during transit.
Please consider spending a little extra on a non-Media Mail shipping option.
Occasionally, seam splits will happen during transit. If you would like to avoid it, please email us immediately after placing an order with the instruction to unseal and remove the record from the jacket. Please note we are unable to offer a refund for any sealed album that arrives with seam splits.
Please note, skipping records can often be a result of the turntable or cartridge/needle quality — not the record. Minor sleeve scuffs and slight warps are sadly very normal with new records and as a result, we are not able to warranty for small defects.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. Records must still be sealed and without damage. Clothing must be unworn and unwashed. You’ll also need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and paid by you.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.

Media Mail is the cheapest way to ship records but remember it is also the slowest delivery method. We securely pack all items with appropriate materials, however, if a package is damaged or lost, there is little to no recourse. Please consider spending a little extra on a non-Media Mail option, to avoid any potential issues.
Estimated delivery time for USPS Media Mail is 3-14 businesses days to US addresses. Estimated delivery time for USPS First Class mail is 3-7 business days to US addresses.
Expedited delivery via USPS Priority Mail is available for an additional fee at checkout. We do not offer overnight shipping at this time.
We do not provide a refund or replacement for items that have been scanned as delivered by USPS. If your package tracks as delivered, but you have not received it, please inquire with your mail carrier or at your local post office branch.
Shipments returned to us by USPS due to incorrect/unclaimed/undeliverable address information will be charged a $5.00 fee for re-shipment.

Customers may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Orders shipping to the United Kingdom should include VAT added during the payment at checkout.
Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from our store, you are considered the importer of the item and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of your order's contents by product type. International customers and customers shipping products internationally should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Providing your phone number at checkout will decrease the likelihood of shipment delays by Customs Services.
Parcels are shipped via USPS First Class Package International and your national postal service. Estimated delivery time is 7-21 business days, but packages may be held by your local customs authority for an additional 10-14 days or more, depending on the customs laws in your country. Please inquire at your local customs office for further information on the location of your package after it has crossed the U.S. border.
Duty and Taxes: The recipient of any and all goods sold by In The Q Records is responsible for any and all Customs fees, including taxes, brokerage fees, and any other fees assessed at the border prior to delivery.
If you would like an exact shipping estimate for your international order, simply begin placing an order. At checkout, the store will calculate your exact shipping charge based on destination and package weight. You’ll have an opportunity to halt the transaction before it is finalized if you decide these shipping costs are too expensive.
